Romeo and Juliet are teenage archetypes who are rebellious and challenging against existing social constructs. This is reflected through their independence, but is tampered and calmed by their naivety and lack of awareness. This makes them oblivious to the ramifications their actions have caused due to them being unaware of the realities of life. This is relevent in todays world because we are rebellious and we are naive about what the world really is, however in reality it is just a story we all want to hear therefore we become rebelious because we want to know the truth about the world and what it has planned for us.
